Island’s First Cottage Food Business

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND – Imagine a box of fresh artisan baked goods showing up at your door every week. You open it up, and take a bite of a Raspberry Oatmeal Bar, or Baklava, or perhaps a Peach Tart.

That’s exactly the experience that Myra Zocher wants to deliver to households all over Bainbridge Island. Her new business, A Woman Sconed, will enable Islanders to sign up for regular deliveries of freshly baked treats. All of them prepared and baked in her home kitchen – something that would not have been possible until June of this year.
